The Heritage 22 Roughrider Series
You can purchase the Roughrider in a variety of finishes, sites and grip styles. These combos that come with one cylinder in 22 lr. and
one in 22 wmr. run an average price between $150.00 to $225.00 and are without a doubt the best quality cowboy styled single action revolvers available on the market today. I can assure that anyone who purchases one of these little combo's will be more than happy.

The Colt SAA
I recently ordered one of Colt's famous SAA's in for a good friend and customer of mine. The cost was much more than I would be willing to pay, being over $1,000.00 but we are talking about a Colt after all. And with Colt comes the price. Ufortunately with price does not necessarily come quality. If "everything else is just a copy", please give me the copy! Very plain bluing job that was named "royal blue", plastic grips and a very poorly stamped serial number made me rethink if Colt is indeed the leading standard for single action revolvers. If you are considering purchasing a single action that you actually plan on shooting and don't want to have to worry about the price depreciating. I would strongly recommend that you try a Heritage, a Ruger or a Smith & Wesson first.
